A dissertation on the life of the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini was written with the coordination between Iran’s cultural attaché as well as professors of Dar al-Hikma University in Ilorin, Nigeria.

The thesis entitled "Biography and Era of Imam Khomeini (SA)" is written by Muhammad Ibrahim, a student of Islamic studies. Dr Abdol Latif Oladimji, the professor and head of Islamic Studies Department of the university's Human Sciences Faculty guided Muhammad Ibrahim in his dissertation while Dr Serajjedin Belal, I.J. Otoio and B Edtonji were his advisors.
The student has referred to the great revolution took place in Iran under leadership of Imam Khomeini in his introduction, adding that it was a source of major changes in the country.
He said that the Iranian nation was released from the tyranny and oppression of foreigners as a result of the revolution.
Ibrahim believed that the history of Iran would be incomplete and difficult to understand without the name of Imam Khomeini and the influences caused by him in that great Islamic country.
The author devoted a chapter of his studies to the unique personality of Imam Khomeini, saying that he was a great intellectual, capable and intelligent leader, and a man of unique generosity.
His high intelligence, sublime morality and knowledge in various fields made Imam Khomeini a unique leader who was respected and trusted not only by Iranians but also Muslims across the world.
The researcher further noted that the revolutionary thought of Imam Khomeini and his fight against tyranny was not only laid the foundation for the Islamic Revolution but also led it to the victory thanks to his smart leadership and raisingthe thesis for velayate faqih (Islamic jurisprudence).
Elsewhere, Ibrahim stressed that backed by its ancient civilization and post-Revolution efforts, the Islamic Iran achieved major progresses in cultural, economic and scientific arenas and turned into a role model for Islamic countries.
