The head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works says that late President Ebrahim Raeisi pave the path of the late founder of the Islamic Republic since early years of his youthhood.

Following the tragic death of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash in northwestern Iran, Hojjat al-Islam Ali Komsari made remarks in a condolence massage issue following tragic death of the president in a tragic helicopter crash. The message comes as following:

Martyr Ayatollah Raisi, who had the honor of paving the path of Imam Khomeini from very young age, always remained on the side of the revolution and the people and in the line of the Imam in the midst of unfolding events and developments, Komsari said.

The late president served in various positions, especially as the head of the Judiciary and finally, in the form of the presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He became a source of lasting service, which, God willing, will be considered as a people-oriented martyr, Komsari added.

A day earlier, the helicopter carrying Raeisi and his entourage, which included Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, crashed in a mountainous area as it was on its way to Tabriz, the capital of the northwestern Iranian province of East Azerbaijan.
