The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic says the entire world has acknowledged that the victory has belonged to the Iranian nation during the US-Israeli aggression against the country
Speaking to the high-ranking officials, personnel and relief workers from Iran’s Red Crescent, Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the most recent war of aggression has created “a major paradigm shift in the region” and changed balance of power in interest of Iran.
“But be sure that in the future, this US-Israeli aggression will be among the most important era and periods of time that will create a major paradigm shift in our region," he said.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini noted that the “nation and people have gone through a 70-day period, but for years could be talked about the causes of its emergence, the country's resilience and field events, as well as its results, fruits, and effects on the country, the region, and the world.”
The reputed scholar emphasized that “the condition for maintaining victory is to support the system's major decisions.”
“Thank God Almighty that the leader of the Islamic Revolution is overseeing affairs and the decisions will definitely go through existing proper process and he will finally endorse them,” the reputed scholar said.
“It is now vital to respect this decision of the administration and Islamic system and trust in the strength, zeal, ability, understanding and wisdom of the officials who are on the scene and in charge of affairs”.
Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also advised that “let's not be excessive and not be a hotter pot than the soup” because all those who are in charge and major decision-makers are either members of the families of martyrs or have spent their lives for the Islamic Revolution.
Furthermore, they have also worked hard for the country during these days of the US and Israeli aggression, he added.
Therefore, let's trust their efforts, decisions and wisdom, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini stated.
He further stressed the need to maintain unity and cohesion among various layers of the society.
“This all is of great significance for the society to maintain its unity and empathy behind the country's major decisions,” the grandson of Imam emphasized.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also hailed and praised courage of Red Crescent relief workers who were always at the scene to conduct rescues operations and save lives during the US-Israeli aggression.
In the recent US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran, Red Crescent teams carried out 6,003 rescue and relief operations, successfully rescuing 7,215 people alive from under the rubble and transferring 7,000 others to medical centers.
A ceasefire that took effect on April 8 — and was later extended unilaterally by Washington — temporarily halted the US-Israeli aggression.However, tensions remain high in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime corridor for global energy trade.Iran closed the strait to its enemies and their allies following the unprovoked US-Israeli aggression.
Iranian authorities also imposed much stricter controls last month after US President Donald Trump announced a blockade targeting Iranian vessels and ports.Despite the blockade, shipping activity linked to Iranian crude oil continues.
