Seyyed Hassan Khomeini lauds and praises IRGC role in shielding Islam, nation

In a message issued on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the IRGC, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the hands and arms of the IRGC should be kissed as they have been the guardians of the honor and dignity of the Iranian nation and divine religion of Islam.

 He referred to a famous historic quote by the late founder of the Islamic Republic who once wished to be an IRGC member.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini further stated that this saying by Imam has been completely realized in Today’s context and circumstances when ۳۰ million people have registered their name to render sacrifice and defend the country against the US-Israeli aggression.  

 The text of Seyyed Hassan Khomeini&#۳۹;s message comes as following:

 In the name of God the Almighty

 The founding and establishment anniversary of the IRGC has been reminder of significance of great plan by late Imam.

The victory of the sons of the Iranian people after the martyrdom of their beloved leader of Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the imposed US-Israeli war of aggression in the holy month of Ramadan, makes us more familiar with the IRGC’s value and status.

 Imam Khomeini&#۳۹;s historic statement, in which he once said, "I wish if I were an IRGC member," has today acquired a new meaning and significance with the registration of about ۳۰ million volunteers which stand prepared to render sacrifices. 

 The hands and arms of the IRGC should be kissed as they have proved themselves to be the guardians of the security and honor of Islam and the Iranian nation , read the message.  

 “We seek divine blessings and pray to God Almighty to grant the martyrs of this land the highest spiritual ranks,” he concluded by saying.
