Weekly Topic: The Enemies of Humanity

From Imam Khomeini’s perspectives, The United States and Israeli hostilities towards humanity and mankind has deep roots into their historical approach of dominance.From Imam&#۳۹;s view, the policies of dominant powers are not only directed against a specific nation or a region but is deeply associated with the human dignity and the fate of the world oppressed nations.Imam Khomeini considers and deems United States the ‘Number One Enemy’ of the oppressed people of the world. Imam believed that this power will not spare any efforts to commit crimes and criminal acts to maintain and expand Its political, economic, cultural and military dominance on the entire world. Imam used to maintain that widespread propaganda campaign, which is organized and run by the international Zionism, has remained at the service of this power. And in this way, the game of deception plays out and oppressed nations are exploited.

For this reason, Imam Khomeini also deems Israel as a clear symbol of brutality and aggression. And he explicitly maintains that "this regime from all Islamic and the Muslim criterion and existing International norms is and occupying and aggressive entity and therefore no efforts should be spared to confront any of its aggression. Imam declared "Israel as an open enemy of Islam because of this regime has demonstrated that if it finds an opportunity, it will not show any mercy towards children and elders alike".In Imam Khomeini’s school of thought, therefore, defending the oppressed nations and resisting and showing steadfastness is not mere a political stance but remain a humane and moral duty.From Imam Khomeini&#۳۹;s point of view, these powers use their war machinery, propaganda campaign and economic dominance to violates rights of nations. And if the Israeli regime continues its policies of aggression and grabbing and occupying lands, confronting such a threat shall be deemed to be a true defense of divine justice and human dignity. Therefore, from Imam’s School of Thought such happenstance is not just another political conflict but an absolute quest to support the humanity which is essential for freedom of nations and spreading of justice around the world.
