We are really saddened by the myrtyrdom of Ayatollah Ali khamenei, Hassan Khomeini added. 

He further said that Iranian nation will accomplish the victory promised by God the Almighty and continue the pave the way of pure Muhammadan Islam.

Elsewhere in the message, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also strongly condemned the ongoing warcof aggression by the criminal regimes of the United States and Israel

By the end of his message, he appealed the Iranian Nation to do their utmost to protect and Shield the Islamic Republic System.

Iran’s Assembly of Experts has chosen Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

He is the son of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei who was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike on his office in Tehran on February ۲۸, the first day of the ongoing US-Israeli military aggression against Iran.

In a statement late Sunday, the Assembly of Experts said that immediately after the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and despite wartime conditions, enemy threats, and a bombing of the Assembly’s offices, it did not hesitate in selecting a new leader.

In line with its constitutional and internal duties, the Assembly swiftly took the necessary steps to convene an extraordinary session and appoint the successor, the statement added.

Following Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s assassination, a three-member temporary leadership council—including President Masoud Pezeshkian and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei—led the country until a new leader was chosen.

The United States and Israel launched their ongoing war of aggression against Iran on February ۲۸. In addition to killing top military commanders, their strikes have killed more than ۱,۳۰۰ civilians, hitting residential areas, schools, and hospitals across the country.
