Islamic Revolution paved tough path of struggle to emerge victorious: Seyyed Ali Khomeini
Seyyed Ali Khomeini, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic say many deem that the Islamic Revolution suddenly emerged victorious in ۱۹۷۹.
Addressing a ceremony held under title “ the frontrunners of the history of revolution”, Seyyed Ali Khomeini said it took years even decades for the Islamic movement to emerge triumph under the leadership of Imam Khomeini.
Those followed Imam and contributed to this movement had rendered great services and faced variety of sufferings including imprisonment, he further pointed out.
If it were not for those pioneers, the revolution would not have won so quickly and with such quality," the grandson of Imam said.
Seyyed Ali Khomeini said that from ۱۹۶۰s to ۱۹۷۹, it was very difficult for figures to show their presence at Imam’s home or residence.
"In the years ۱۹۴۲ to ۱۹۵۷ AHS, not even a single person was present at the Imam۳۹;s house on many days," Seyyed Ali Khomeini, quoting a close relative of the Imam۳۹;s family as saying"
The prominent scholar went onto say that the struggle and movement went through a very difficult period that should not be missed.
Therefore this thinking or view that the Islamic Revolution emerged victorious all of sudden has not been accurate.
Seyyyed Ali Khomeini said that the supreme leader recalled through a memoir that he had been one of those optimistic figures who believed that the revolution will reach to victory.
This all shows that the struggle for the Islamic Revolution had not bee easy at all and instead paved a path of years of tough struggle.
