It has been recalled through a series of memoirs that Imam Khomeini had always avoided luxuries and even did not use cooling devices during scorching heat during summer.
Imam had not provided himself almost any means of comfort in that harsh hot weather.
Imam also was not willing to go to nearby cooling places to avoid hot weather and faced the conditions with patience and great resilience
The Imam lived as simply and continued the same pattern even after becoming the leader of Islamic Revolution following the victory of Islamic Revolution in ۱۹۷۹.
